The Practice makes every effort to see urgent cases on the same day. Requests for routine appointments are offered two working days in advanced (you need to call the surgery at 8am when the phone lines open for the best chance of booking an appointment). You can make an appointment with any doctor at the Practice.
Sometimes you will not be able to see the doctor of your choice at the time you want, however another doctor in the Practice would be pleased to see you if he/she has appointments available.
Weekday evening and weekend appointments are offered here or nearby
Please contact the practice for appointment availability

If you require an urgent same day appointment please ring the Practice as early as possible. You will be asked for your name, contact details and a brief description of the problem (all our staff adhere to strict terms of confidentiality). The duty doctor will call you back to assess your condition so please keep your phone line free. If your symptoms worsen please contact the Practice again.
If you would like to speak to one of the doctors or a nurse with regard to a general enquiry during normal Practice hours please contact the Practice on 01452 891110 (the doctor will usually ring you back later).
'Pharmacy First Minor Ailments is a new scheme being offered by Community Pharmacies in Gloucester City. It means that you can get advice and/or medicines for common, less serious illnesses from a community pharmacist, without having to make an appointment with your GP.'
Click here to see which pharmacies are offering this scheme.
Patients are usually seen at the Practice but between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.30 pm may be seen at home if the doctor considers a home visit is necessary. A doctor may ring you before a visit to establish the urgency of your visit.
If you cannot say what you want to say in English when you go to the doctor and need help with interpreting - then please ring the Health Centre on 01452 891110 or speak to a receptionist.
Patients have the right to ask for a chaperone at any time, for an examination or consultation. If you feel you would like a chaperone, you are welcome to bring a relative or friend, or ask at reception or mention it to your doctor. This will not affect your care in any way.
For test results please ring 01452 891110 any morning between 11am and 12.30pm and between 3.00pm and 5pm any afternoon.
If the doctor needs to speak to you about your results the receptionist will book a telephone call for you from a doctor.
Do not assume your result is normal if you do not hear anything from your GP, please call and check.
